About the Journal

GLOW is an international organization, founded in 1977 and based in Europe, which provides an inclusive and diverse forum for researchers at any stage of their careers who are engaged in the study of generative linguistics. Among the activities to further generative linguistics, GLOW organizes an annual conference, a talk series, and offers resources that facilitate communication among practitioners of generative linguistics throughout the world.

Proceedings of GLOW collects contributions to the annual GLOW colloquium in article form. Contributions are selected for presentation at the conference based on high-quality double-blind peer review. The papers included in Proceedings of GLOW are not formally reviewed but their overall quality is checked by the volume editors. Authors are encouraged to post their preprints on public archives and have their papers reviewed by colleagues during the editing process in a voluntary open review process.
